Tizian Rein (born 1997 in Rhöndorf) is an architect working at the intersection
of computational design, repair logics and architectural heritage. He studied
at TU Munich, ETH Zurich and TH Cologne. His master’s thesis
“From Structure to Action: Machine Reasoning and the Logics of Repair” explores
how AI-driven design processes can support preservation, repair and transformation
of buildings. He has worked at the Professorship of Digital Fabrication (TUM) and
at Gramazio Kohler Research (ETH Zurich), and currently operates independently
focusing on building transformation and research-led design practice.
